This role would suit an individual with Regional Operations Manager or equivalent experience. They will be able to demonstrate impeccable leadership skills and show how they have made a difference in their career history. They will proactively manage store operations in such a way that the culture, merchandising and service standards are consistent with the strategic plans of the business and contribute to company profitability and growth.
The role is field based within a defined geography and will require each of the allocated stores to be visited and reviewed regularly. The Regional Operations Manager will report into the General Manager of Operations. This position is based in the North of the Country.
Ensure that a safety culture and practical strategies are actioned and developed and maintained throughout the business as well as creating an open safety environment where safety matters of any nature are openly discussed and actioned.
Drive sales and profit for the Region and persistently review KPI performance taking appropriate actions where required.
Ensure leadership teams have the skills, ability, opportunities and resources to execute Company strategy
Have a team first approach where care for customer, team member and safety is paramount and set an example of this by providing strong and inspirational leadership.
Drive Regional performance through sales, budgets, expense control, loss prevention, stock prevention and excellent customer service.
Create people performance targets where Area Managers are accountable and champions principles of leadership and performance management.
Create specific and realistic action plans addressing business and personal priorities and works in partnership with functions and teams
Set priorities both business and personal and considers resource fully ensuring the creation of solutions not problems
Recruit and develop people by carrying out effective coaching & development for business and performance reviews and enlists the help of others for expertise and guidance.
Strong operational sales and management experience gained within a fast paced stores environment
Multi-site experience combined with exposure to other functions and demonstrated experience in leadership and people development
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Strong communication and influencing skills, financial acumen and sales driven
