Project Manager

Right now at Homebase, there really are a number of fantastic opportunities to join the business at a significant time of investment since our acquisition by Bunnings, the leading retailer of home improvement and outdoor living products in Australia and New Zealand.

One area of the business that is especially exciting to be a part of is our Business Transformation team in which we have a number of exciting projects and opportunities. We currently have a number of Project Manager vacancies in the team which are a real opportunity to play a key part in leading the delivery of a variety of projects at Homebase.

Under the new ownership, Homebase is committed to offering customers a wide range of home improvement and garden products at ‘always low prices’. We are looking for Project Managers to work on some of our business critical transformation projects in areas such as stock, loss prevention, greenlife and supply chain. The roles will directly drive delivery of key aspects of the FY18 plan. They will all contribute significantly to increased sales or margin or reduced costs

The role:

Ensure project outcomes are delivered in full, on budget and within agreed timescales.

Create detailed plans and approaches to execute the project and deliver key business results.

Ensure support from key stakeholders

Take ownership for key deliverables and coordinator all stakeholders as required working with senior sponsors and establishing peer group relationships

Establish clear and appropriate reporting and governance controls

Maintain a strong grasp on risks and issues related to the project

About you:

Proven track record of delivering projects and business analysis and consulting

Project management of projects in excess of £500k budget and projects teams of at least 5 people

Significant project management skills including planning, stakeholder management, understanding of how to resource projects, managing teams and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Excellent communicator who can quickly build business relationships.
