Continuous Improvement Manager

The Continuous Improvement Manager will work directly with the leadership team and their direct reports to identify opportunities for improved ways of working. This role will be responsible for assessing and implementing enhanced system solutions to drive productivity in the end to end supply chain covering all aspects from vendor to office to distribution to stores.

The role:

Directly managing a team 10-15 reports
Playing a leading role in developing the long term Supply Chain and Distribution strategy for Homebase and Bunnings in the UK
Actively seek new opportunities for improved ways of working, assessing and implementing enhanced system solutions to drive productivity in the end to end supply chain
Develop, test, trial, prove and implement change projects
Responsible for changes impacting supply chain

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

A proven track record within a retail business
Excellent supply chain / IT experience
Strong leadership skills
Extensive project management experience with demonstrable examples of delivering large scale change programmes
The ability to influence at a senior level
The ideal candidate will also have the following traits; ability to meet tight deadlines, high self motivation, excellent communication skills, highly numerate
A Lean six sigma qualification or equivalent university degree or project management qualification
You will need a full UK driving as some travel is required in the role
