About the role:
To work closely with the Management Accountant and provide support with reporting/analysis and month-end process.
To produce timely, accurate and value added management reporting, financial analysis and insight for the business, produced in a consistent and effective way.
You will be responsible for:
Timely and accurate production of all reporting for the business on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Assistance with the preparation and completion of month-end results, including P&L and Balance sheet.
Ensure all reporting meets the ongoing requirements of the business through ongoing evaluation and continuous improvement.
Implement consistent practices and drive efficiencies.
Frequent ad-hoc support/reporting for senior management and business partners.
Work collaboratively with the wider financial reporting and planning team and commercial finance team to provide an evolving service and support.
Develop and maintain key business relationships with appropriate stakeholders within the Bunnings Group.
To succeed in the role, you will be a part qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years accounting experience in a large multisite retailer, would be ideal but it is not essential. You will need to have good communication skills, great attention to detail and a very organized approach.
