Visual Planner

We are currently recruiting for two Visual Planners to join our Commercial Team and work closely with the Visual Planning Manager. Your role will be to create and maintain merchandise standards, merchandising guides and article listings. As well as inputting into store projects and communications to support the business direction, strategies and commercial targets.

You will create, develop and maintain layouts and merchandising guides, ensuring accurate product listings in SAP across the store network, ensuring merchandising guides help categories achieve their commercial targets.

This role is also accountable for the planning of micro space for all projects and the store network, ensuring excellent accuracy and communication to all relevant stakeholders and relevant supporting tools are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support and feed into all new store/refits/upgrades/range review merchandise plans with Buyers and Category Managers in line with agreed timelines.
Management of projects in relation to project development, documentation and execution. Including

Management of existing store network of Homebase stores
Review and input into store plans for sign off meetings
Assist in the development of equipment for layouts and projects
Support category teams reaching overall commercial targets of the projects
Create accurate supporting Visual Planning documentation for projects

Own Visual Planning processes ensuring they are relevant to wider business processes. Guaranteeing they are updated and communicated where necessary.
Maintain accurate and usable data in line with business practices to enable analysis and business decisions to be taken.
Maintain a high level of competitor and industry activity and best practice in relation to Visual Planning.

About you:

Minimum A-Level qualifications required and any Visual Planning/Merchandising qualifications would be advantageous
Previous exposure to retail environment
Ability to influence stakeholders and work cross functionally
Ability to work autonomously as well as a team environment
Excellent administration and organisational skills
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
