The Resourcing BP is responsible for delivering the full scope of the recruitment service to all business areas within our 2 Store Support Centre’s in order to attract and secure top-quality talent providing a robust business partnering approach to line management on their recruitment needs in an effective and efficient way.
Responsible for sourcing, attraction, selection and assessment of talented individuals using direct sourcing methodologies to minimise costs and drive a better candidate experience.
What will I be doing?
Become fully acquainted with business functions to identify best fit individuals and talk knowledgably to candidates about vacancies in the context of the function that they reside in, compared to the wider market
Proactively deliver the recruitment service across plan, source, screen, select and secure ensuring that at least 85% of roles are recruited directly. Identify candidates via direct sourcing methodologies including CV mining, online networking, job boards, advertising, direct referrals from internal referral scheme and leads. Including linked in headhunting.
Drive down the use agencies on an ongoing basis from 15% to minimal over time, reducing the cost of the service year on year.
Accountable for creating and maintaining an active external talent pool and pipeline for standard roles within the function ensuring the function can effectively recruit talent from the external market.
Accountable for the calibre and quality of all external candidates presented to recruiting managers within the function, therefore directly affecting the quality of talent available to a function to deliver its business plans.
Ensure all appropriate policy and legal requirements are adhered to and you are up to date on new employment legislation, with specific reference to Right to work
Working with 3rd party suppliers and the Retail Resourcing BP in excelling the user experience on the Homebase website. Using this constantly as a customer to ensure that all candidates have a slick recruitment experience
Being curious and proactive on what’s new in the world of recruitment and attraction, making recommendations and suggestions for improvements so we stay up to date and relevant
Weekly recruitment reporting and meeting of all recruitment KPI’s
Solely accountable for the relationship with all temporary recruitment agencies and an understanding of all temp recruitment in our business at any one time.
Undertaking relevant projects or pieces of work as and when required

Degree educated preferred
CIPD qualification preferred
Established experience in recruitment within head office function
